An Interview with The Beaches

August 6, 2025

Jordan Miller of The Beaches shares some advice for the last girls at the party, the band’s backstage post-show essentials, hidden talents, plus more ahead of their shows at Fox Theater Pomona (LA) and The Warfield (SF).

Answers provided by Jordan Miller of The Beaches.

What’s on your post-show rider?

JM: Eliza (our drummer) usually puts together our rider cause she know what everybody wants! There’s usually like two bottles of red wine on there, a dozen beers, CHOMPS, sandwiches, Cheez-Itz, vodka sodas (if it's a wild night), prosecco (if it's a really wild night). If she’s mad at me she’ll include sour cream and onion chips cause she knows I'll eat the whole bag in one sitting. Oh, and of course lots and lots of water and throat coat!

If you weren’t an artist, what would you be doing instead?

JM: I feel like maybe something in the trades world honestly. I love putting things together. Those jobs have really good pay and labour protections, and I’m really good at fixing toilets – so maybe plumbing!

What’s your go-to In-N-Out order?

JM: I usually order a single cheeseburger with raw onions and NO tomato, animal style fries, iced tea, and a bag of those super spicy pepperoncinis.

Any advice for the last girls at the party?

JM: Be a kind drunk, drink lots of water, and make sure you don’t go home until you hear the birds!
